Henry Hudson Regional High School in Highlands, NJ keeps surprising Parker Family Health Center with their dedication to promote Parker’s mission to provide healthcare to those who do not have medical insurance or the ability to pay for healthcare. These kids have done an outstanding job! When the teacher of the Community Service organization dropped off this painting, she said to “feel free to contact her in September at the start of the new school year, in case there is anything their students can do to help Parker in the future”.
The students that conducted the medical supplies district-wide “donation drive” were recently awarded 4rth place in a statewide contest of “school community service organizations” after they made their presentation about how they helped Parker Family Health Center’s patients and families. We were so pleased to hear that they coordinated their efforts with the school art department regarding creating this painting as a gift to Parker. It will be proudly displayed!
