The Red Bank Council recognized this year’s successful 2017 Red Bank International Beer, Wine and Food Fest at their June 28th council meeting. The festival, held on Sunday, April 30th, was sponsored by the Asbury Park Press and Heineken and featured over 25 restaurants and eateries as well as live entertainment from nine popular bands. Not only does the event support the Red Bank River Center, but each year 2 local non profit organizations also benefit from this fun affair. This year’s non profit beneficiaries were the Parker Family Health Center, a health center for Monmouth County residents without health insurance or the means to pay, and Holiday Express, a volunteer organization offering the gift of music and human kindness during the holiday season to those less fortunate.
