How wonderful for the Parker Family Health Center staff, volunteers and Board members when they were invited to hold their annual holiday luncheon gratis at Europa Grill in Shrewsbury! Twenty-three people attended as guests of Europa’s hospitable owners Joe Arena and Marcela Fernandez. The food, service and atmosphere were fabulous, and delicious dishes just kept coming to the table, piping hot on a cold winter day! The Parker team was warmly welcomed with much gratitude from the restaurateurs for providing comprehensive medical care to Monmouth County residents in need.

The Parker Family Health Center is a free health care facility where Monmouth County residents who do not have medical insurance or the ability to pay for medical care can be treated. With the support of the local medical community, including almost 100 volunteer physicians and nurses, the Parker Family Health Center assists those who are making a sincere effort to help themselves and their families realize optimum health. The Parker Family Health Center relies solely on grants, special fundraising events, and private contributions from generous donors.

The Europa Grill, located in the Shrewsbury Village at 555 Shrewsbury Ave, will surely be one of our favorite restaurant haunts for years to come! A huge thank you goes out to Joe and Marcela for inviting the Parker Family and for appreciating the service that Parker Family Health Center provides in Monmouth County. A happy holiday season is wished to one and all!
