Horizon Foundation Provides $133,000 Grant

Horizon Foundation Parker Family Health Ccenter

(Seaside Heights, NJ – July 6, 2007) — As part of The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey’s 5-year, $5 million Health Center Initiative designed to provide greater access to health care for the uninsured and underinsured throughout New Jersey.

The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey presented the Parker Family Health Center of Red Bank, New Jersey with a check in the amount of $133,000 prior to a match at the 2007 AVP Seaside Heights Open. The grant will be used to improve and better manage patient care by hiring a clinic assistant and purchasing a patient tracking system. Funds will be used for salary, computer, and software expenses.
