Roy Carman is a gastroenterologist and a former medical director at the Parker Family Health Center who now volunteers as a physician. Currently, Dr. Carmen  devotes much of his time to medical education at the Rutgers School of Medicine. He is involved in a study of the World Trade Center Responders from 9/11 and their subsequent health issues and is presently collaborating in the writing of a case study text on biochemistry and gastroenterology.
