Our patient population is largely Spanish and we are looking for Volunteer Spanish Interpreters. If you are fluent in English and Spanish and have time to donate to the Parker Family Health Center, we would love to hear from you.

Am I required to have an active medical license?
Yes, you are required to have an active license in the State of New Jersey.

Do I need to carry Malpractice Insurance?
No. The clinic covers all licensed independent practitioners under the Federal Tort Claims Act.

How much time is required to volunteer?
As much as you would like. Some of our physicians, nurse practitioners and dentists volunteer 1 or 2 times a month. We are happy to work with you in any way that is convenient to your schedule.

Nurse Volunteers
We are always in need of nursing support at the clinic. We need registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and clinical assistants. Our nursing staff is needed for patient care, patient education, children vaccinations and medication administration.

You must have a current license in the state of New Jersey or compact state which has reciprocity.
